This is a finely crafted holster. Sturdy, thick leather.
All the pieces are joined together & sewn tight & perfect.
This is my first custom leather holster, and it certainly wont be my last.
BHL prices are Extremely reasonable.
I couldn’t even find a major holster manufacturing company that made a holster for my pistol ( RIA VZ Tactial 2011 1911 .45 ).
I called probably 6 of them. No dice.

I received my holster several days ago. My new RIA 1911 has a full rail, so I had to go with a custom holster. I’m glad I surfed in to Black Hills Leather.
This holster is solid, well made, & secure. The pistol fits like a glove. BHL did a fantastic job on the fit. Simply amazing.
I got to use the holster on a night out on the town, & it was extremely comfortable. The weight of this somewhat heavy gun rides very even in this rig. I was a bit reluctant when I ordered, having never owned a holster with this design – but I’m glad I did. It is highly concealable & very comfortable.
When you receive your holster, read the 2 sheets enclosed with your order. Just some general suggestions, fit tips, and cleaning suggestions. My holster was very tight when I got it. But following BHL simple instructions, within a day it was as if I had been using it forever.
